This drawing we did included boxes in space including some other shapes, like I used a couple triangles. We had to make these shapes and boxes spread out from each other and in different directions. A new art skill I used was drawing boxes inside of each other and also drawing shapes using a vanishing point. The art elements I used were lines and shapes. The lines were to connect the vertisies of the shape to the vanishing point and this helped create the 3-D shapes.
This is my final draft of the parallelogram drawing. It is just a bunch of different sized and shaded parallelograms that are connected to each other. One of the skills I used that I had never really used before was drawing shapes that go behind each other. The art element that's probably most emphasized in my drawing is value. I used a variety of different shades and values that made it clear what stood out(dark lines), and also what didn't stand out and went behind the other shapes sometimes. This new art element and skill used help create deception to the eyes of whoever is looking at it and helps the overall drawing look better. This was a new type of drawing for me that I kind of enjoyed.
This is the square drawing on white paper that we did in art class. This is what mine turned out to look like. It is just a bunch of squares drawn inside of squares with squares touching each other mad also touching the 4 edges of the paper right in the middle so it can connect with other peoples drawings. 1 new skill I used in this work that I've never done before was drawing tons of squares inside of each other. One art element used were lines and it's usage was to create movement of the squares. It caused swirlies among the squares as well. If someone looked at it they would think I used more than just lines but in fact I just used straight lines. The lines caused movement which made the drawing more interesting. This was a cool new art experience that I enjoyed
